I don't think I'd be very good at waiting 8 hours before eating it either! Nonetheless, I'm very curious...Ellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15018646330689832361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7033135461894105155.post-59213067664989549662011-06-04T13:00:29.718+10:002011-06-04T13:00:29.718+10:00also I find it a little strange that you would pre...also I find it a little strange that you would prefer to choose regular sugar which is definitely proven to be linked with heart disease, diabetes, tooth decay, obesity and gout (just to name a few) over other naturally occurring sweeteners which do not have proven links to these diseases. Just saying... seems like strange logic to me.Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02141836406113250543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7033135461894105155.post-4327762294541200402011-06-04T12:39:36.426+10:002011-06-04T12:39:36.426+10:00I wouldn't be worried about stevia since it ha...I wouldn't be worried about stevia since it has been in widespread use in many countries like Japan for decades. It is just a herb which you can grow in your own backyard and crush your own leaves if you really want. I would think it is much less harmful to you than sugar cane.<br />As for xylitol it occurs naturally in oats, mushrooms, corn and berries so I would suggest you are probably eating it unknowingly anyway. I wouldn't recommend eating it in large amounts - but then I wouldn't recommend eating sugar in large amounts anyway. Plus xylitol is used in a lot of toothpastes and mouth washes. Studies have been done on the toxicity of xylitol with people consuming up to 1.5kg a month with no ill effects... so yeah not really worried - though moderation in everything is probably a good idea.Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02141836406113250543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7033135461894105155.post-35760276368556727602011-06-04T12:14:04.140+10:002011-06-04T12:14:04.140+10:00How amazing! Goodness knows what the other things do if tested on enough people.Grannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15227993060048587815noreply@blogger.com
